PURPOSE

 

To train adult guides (or teachers) to introduce ancient and essential while innovative teaching techniques in the classroom, gathered together in the Mandala program and methodology. After years of implementation and experience, this program and its techniques in the classroom have proven highly effective in fundamental aspects of human behavior and development.

Our observations show that application of this methodology has had a far-reaching impact in the classroom in terms of attention deficit problems, depression, anxiety and hostility in the child, while providing great health benefits in general welfare, social relations, and academic performance. In addition, a greater capacity for emotional self-regulation and conflict resolution, resulting in enhanced concentration and sense of well being can be seen in students. As a logical consequence of all this, we see the awakening of students minds and hearts to social responsibility, having a brighter mental attitude,  happier, healthier and more compassionate.

OUR FIRST STEPS IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS
 

Since the beginning of September 2014, we have been focusing on public schools and teacher training, as well as on our international program.

The good news for public education is that Mandala's training model and tools has now been included in the Continuing Teacher Training Program (CEP). This means that, starting in 2015, all public schools will have access to our training program and can implement it in their classrooms. These are very good news, as we have been working hard to find ways to benefit more children and families with our program. Our Mandala Labs Communities only can reach a few children but now things have finally changed, and we are able to reach more children, their guides, and their families. This will extend beyond Spain to include Latin America, where we are taking our educational model to different areas of the continent, such as Mexico (Mexico City) and Colombia (Bogotá).
